Fedja Hilliger studied law at LMU München and Handelshögskolan in Gothenburg, Sweden. As a postgraduate fellow of the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation, he was awarded a Ph.D. in law at LMU. He received the law faculty award as well as the award of the Munich Society for Legal Studies (Münchener Juristische Gesellschaft e.V.) for his doctoral thesis.

Following his traineeship in Berlin, Fedja was admitted to the bar and joined LSP as an associate in 2016. He advises in German and English.
